Hoffman averaged 22.7 points and three rebounds while shooting over 50 percent from the floor as Montclair State won two of three games. Hoffman scored 16 points and grabbed three rebounds with two steals as the Red Hawks opened its NJAC slate with a 63-61 win over William Paterson. He then scored 31 points along with a pair of rebounds as MSU won its opener in the Holiday Inn Rochester Downtown Tournament 76-73 over RPI. Hoffman closed out the week with 21 points, four rebounds and two steals as MSU fell to hosts Rochester in the championship game. Hoffman, named to the All-Tournament Team, was 26-of-51 from the field (.510) and shot 36.8 percent from behind the arc.
