Carter, selected NJAC Rookie of the Week for the second time this year, averaged 20.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals over two conference games. helping MSU extend its winning streak to nine. The freshman tallied 18 points while pulling down three rebounds as the Red Hawks downed William Paterson University 60-51 Wednesday evening to complete the season sweep of the Pioneers. Carter posted a game-high 23 points in Montclair's 70-59 victory over Kean University Saturday. It was the fifth outing of 20 points or more for the freshman, and helped Red Hawks avenge a loss to Cougars from earlier in the season. Carter leads the Red Hawks with 16.0 points per game and has hit 32 three-pointers, which is second-most on the team.
