Powers, the NJAC Player of the Week, helped Montclair State to a 6-2 mark as the Red Hawks closed out their Florida trip at 10-2 overall. Powers batted .640 with a slugging percentage of .960 and an on-base percentage of .719 while successfully handling all 22 chances in the field. Powers, who drew seven walks on the week, had six multi-hit contests and scored a run in seven of the eight games. The junior went 3-for-4 in a 6-0 win over Wheaton (MA) and was 2-for-2 with three RBI and a home run in a 13-1 win versus Washington & Jefferson. Powers was 3-for-4 with an RBI and double in a 12-3 victory over Ursinus and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three runs scored in a 7-1 win against Emmanuel.
