Pomona, NJ (10/15/01) --- The Montclair State University men's soccer team was blanked by the No. 17-ranked Ospreys of Richard Stockton College tonight, 3-0.
RSC scored twice in the first half and once in the second stanza to win its 10th straight game, while Montclair had a two-game unbeaten streak snapped.
Jamie Nelson scored two goals and Steve Billstein scored once for Stockton, while Jeff Moore added two assists. MSU (4-8-2, 0-4-2 NJAC), which was outshot, 13-1, got four saves from senior goalkeeper ALEX LUNA (Newark, NJ/Hudson Catholic).
The Red Hawks return to action on Saturday, Oct. 20, at 1:00 p.m. at Ramapo College in an NJAC matchup in Mahwah, NJ.
