Mahwah, NJ (10/20/01) --- Ramapo College's Matt Chester (Hamilton, NJ) scored the game-winning goal in the 110th minute of overtime as the Roadrunners edged Montclair State, 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

STEVE LEONARD (Pompton Plains, NJ/Pequannock) had the lone goal for the Red Hawks, who fell to 5-9-2 on the season and 0-5-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. ALEX LUNA (Newark, NJ/Hudson Catholic) had seven saves for Montclair State.

Leonard gave the Red Hawks a 1-0 lead in the 58th minute as he scored unassisted. However, Ramapo tied the game in the 72nd minute as Jeremy Taylor connected on a goal.

Eric Stryker (Tinton Falls, NJ) made 10 saves for Ramapo, which was outshot in the game, 20-17.

Montclair State returns to action on Wednesday, Octboer 24th as they host the Gothic Knights of New Jersey City University at MSU Soccer Park at Pittser Field. Game time is 3:00 pm.
