Upper Montclair, NJ -- Four different players tallied a goal as Montclair State continued its winning ways with a 4-0 victory over FDU-Madison on Tuesday afternoon. The win was the ninth in a row for the Red Hawks as they extended the school's longest winning streak.

Ater a scoreless first half, MSU (10-3) broke through 54 seconds into the period as MARIELA GARCIA (Long Branch, NJ/Long Branch) scored off a penalty corner. LAURA POPES (West Long Branch, NJ/Shore Regional) made it 2-0 with 7:42 to play as she connected on her 16th goal of the season.

Popes now has 35 points this season, one shy of the single-season mark of 36 set by Kristen Eisele in 1997.

ANDREA ULICNY (Edgewood, NJ/Edgewood), who assisted on the first goal, banged home her fourth of the season with 6:20 to play for a 3-0 MSU advantage. DONNA RUSSO (Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) capped off the scoring for the Red Hawks with her first of the season at the 67:09 mark.

TRISHA WINKLE (Forked River, NJ/Lacey Twp.) made three saves in posting her second shutout of the season.

Montclair outshot the Jersey Devils, 22-5.
