Glassboro, NJ -- The Montclair State University men's basketball team dropped a 63-53 decision at Rowan University on Saturday, Dec. 1. The Red Hawks are now 2-4 overall and 1-3 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
MSU took a 12-3 lead in the opening minutes, but then Rowan pulled ahead with a 16-6 run and entered halftime with a 32-27 advantage. The host Profs then scored the first six points of the second stanza and maintained at least a 10-point lead the rest of the evening en route to their fourth win of the campaign.

TYLEE THOMAS led Rowan with 15 points, eight assists and 7-of-8 free-throw shooting. ROBERT FERGUSON and CHRIS YOUNG each had eight rebounds for the Profs, with Ferguson also collecting a team-best five steals.
