Farmingdale, NY - The Montclair State University men's basketball team won its third consecutive game with an 81-70 victory at SUNY-Farmingdale on Monday, Dec. 10.
MSU (5-4) jumped out to a 14-2 lead in the first six minutes of play, and led by a 49-28 count at halftime.
BEN MARTINEZ and
OMAR BOOTHE led MSU with 13 points apiece, with Martinez adding a team-high three assists and two steals.
MICHAEL DAVIS paced the Red Hawks with nine rebounds, while SUNY's Mytel Reeves led all scorers with 27 points for the host Rams.
MSU returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 15, against Goucher at 7:00 p.m. at Panzer Gymnasium, its last action before the annual Billy Martucci Holiday Tournament in Upper Montclair on Dec. 27-28.
