Camden, NJ - The Montclair State University men's basketball team is back at the .500 mark after recording its second conscutive victory , a 75-53 decision at Rutgers-Camden on Saturday, Dec. 8. MSU is now 4-4 overall and 3-3 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
The Red Hawks jumped out to as much as a 19-point lead and led by a 39-26 count at the halftime,
The host Scarlet Raptors closed to within 53-52 in the second half, but MSU then went on a 22-1 run in the final six minutes of regulation to put the game away.

JOSEPH THOMAS (Linden, NJ) led Montclair with 20 points, nine rebounds and seven steals, registering his second straight game with 20 or more points.

DARIUS SKEETE (Union, NJ) recorded 19 points and junior guard
BEN MARTINEZ (Scotch Plains, NJ) came off the bench to contribute 11 points. MSU outrbeounded Rutgers-Camden 49-37, on the day.
MSU steps out of the conference for its next game on Monday, Dec. 10, when it visits SUNY-Farmingdale at 7:00 p.m.
