Upper Montclair, NJ - Junior outside hitter SARA SHORTWAY (Midland Park, NJ/Midland Park) collected 22 kills and 12 digs and LILAH ORMOND (Voorhees, NJ/Eastern) added 17 kills as Richard Stockton knocked off Montclair State, 3-1, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference Volleyball match at Panzer Gymnasium this evening.
CRISTIN MONTALBANO (Cliffside Park, NJ/Cliffside Park) added 12 kills for the Ospreys (7-8, 2-0 NJAC), who won their 37th consecutive NJAC regular-season match. Richard Stockton has not dropped a regular-season conference contest since 1995.

CARMEN ALVARADO (Newark, NJ/Barringer) each had 11 kills for the Red Hawks (1-9, 0-2 NJAC), who won the first game, 30-22 before the Ospreys came back to take the final three games, 30-26, 30-25, 30-26.
JENNIFER OLAN (Jersey City, NJ/Academic) had 30 assists for Montclair State while GRETA HEINLY (Glen Riddle, PA/Penncrest) had 51 assists for Richard Stockton, which rallied from an 18-14 deficit in Game #4.
MELISSA STRAUSS (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) added a match-high 16 digs for MSU.
