Glassboro, NJ - Sophomore CARMEN ALVARADO (Newark, NJ/Barringer) collected 15 kills, 10 digs and four total blocks, but it wasn't enough as Montclair State dropped to 1-10 on the year with a 3-1 loss at Rowan University on Friday evening.

TIFFANY ACIZ (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) added eight kills, 10 assists and nine digs for MSU, which also dropped to 0-3 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.

Defensive specialist MELISSA STRAUSS (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) had 13 digs, while setter JENNIFER OLAN (Jersey City, NJ.Academic) registered 18 assists.
