Glassboro, NJ (9/05/01) - The Montclair State field hockey team dropped their second straight game on Saturday afternoon falling at Rowan University, 5-0 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference opener for both teams.

JACKIE MASSARA snapped a scoreless with 21:03 left in the opening period as she scored on a penalty stroke. BETH RALEIGH made it 2-0 with 30:59 to go in the second half as she beat MSU goaltender TRISHA WINKLE (Forked River, NJ/Lacey Township). The Profs then added three more scores in the final eight minutes.

Winkle made 25 saves in goal for the Red Hawks (0-2), who were outshot in the game, 42-1.
