Wayne, NJ - William Paterson University's RASHAAN BARNER scored a game high 26 points, including 19 in the first half as the Pioneers posted a 75-61 victory over Montclair State in New Jersey Athletic Conference men's basketball action at the WPU Rec Center on Wednesday evening.
Barner also grabbed 12 rebounds for the Pioneers (8-10, 5-6 NJAC), who avenged a 63-54 loss to Montclair State at Panzer Gymnasium on November 28th.
JOSEPH THOMAS (Linden, NJ/Linden) finished with 20 points for the Red Hakws (12-6, 6-5 NJAC), who lost for just the second time in their last 12 games.
OMAR BOOTHE added 16 points and eight rebounds for MSU.
The Pioneers led 38-30 at halftime.
