Greensboro, NC (10/12/02) – The Montclair State University women's soccer team collected its second straight 1-0 win with today's triumph at Greensboro College. MSU had downed arch-rival Rowan University, 1-0, in its last action back on Oct. 5 in West Deptford, NJ.

Freshman forward KELLY DUTKO (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) tallied the only goal of the game in the 34th minute of play, stealing a loose ball and scoring from five yards out to lift the Red Hawks (5-4-2 overall, 2-1-1 NJAC) to their third win in four games since Sept. 25. It was Dutko's first career game-winning goal in a Montclair State uniform, and the second goal of her Red hawk career. Senior goalkeeper STEPHANIE ROMANKO (N. Brunswick, NJ/N. Brunswick) notched her sixth shutout of the year for Montclair State, making five saves as the host Pride outshot MSU, 11-8, but fell to 4-8 on the season with the loss. Romanko now has 39 career shutouts at MSU, adding to her school record.

Montclair will host Stevens Tech on Monday, Jan. 14, at Sprague Field at 7:30 p.m. to begin a three-game homestand lasting through Oct. 19. MSU is 2-1-0 at home so far this season.
