Bradford, PA (09/20/03) -- The Montclair State University volleyball team closed out play at the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford Volleyball Tournament winning one of three matches as the Red Hawks finished the tournament 1-3. MSU is now 4-14 on the season.
The Red Hawks, who fell to Philadelphia Bible on Friday evening, 3-0, lost to host Pitt-Bradford and fellow NJAC rival Rutgers-Newark in three games before coming back to sweep Lincoln University, 3-0.

CARMEN ALVARADO (Newark, NJ/Barringer) led the way for Montclair on Saturday as she collected 35 kills, 11 service aces and 10 digs in the three matches. Junior
BROOKSHIELD LAURENT (East Orange, NJ/Marylawn Academy) had 24 kills and nine digs while sophomore
KELLY MCGUIRE (Upper Saddle River, NJ/No. Highlands) collected 20 kills and 17 digs.
The Red Hawks return to action on Tuesday, September 23rd as they will face the same Rutgers-Newark team in Newark in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match at 7:00 pm. MSU is currently 1-2 in the NJAC.
