East Stroudsburg, PA (1/10/04) – The Montclair State women's team dropped a 148-88 decision to Division II East Stroudsburg on Saturday afternoon. The Red Hawks (0-6) were competing in their first dual meet since December 13, a span of 28 days.

DANIELLE FLORIO (Lyndhurst, NJ/Mt. St. Dominic) was the lone first-place finisher for MSU as she captured the 1000 freestyle with a season-best 11:42.89. Florio also placed second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:45.64.
COLLEEN GRIFFIN (Bloomfield, NJ/Lacordaire Academy) had a trio of second-place finishes in the 100 backstroke (1:06.63), 50 freestyle (26.65) and 100 freestyle (1:00.22).
SUE SOLLENBERGER (Stratford, NJ/Gateway Regional) was second in the 200 freestyle (2:09.66) with
ADRIENNE RICHARDI (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) taking second in the 200 fly (2:40.70).
The Red Hawks women return to action on Wednesday, January 14 when its hosts Misericordia in a men's and women's dual meet at 6:30 pm. The MSU men's team is currently 1-4 on the season and haven't competed since falling to Kings Point, 146-95 back on December 13.
