Pomona, NJ (10/13/04) - Richard Stockton (10-3-3, 3-0-3) scored twice in the final six minutes of regulation to erase a 2-0 deficit and force a 2-2 tie with 19th-ranked Montclair State (10-2-2, 3-1-1) in an NJAC men's soccer game tonight.
Scott Adams tallied the tying goal with just 34 seconds left in the second half.
RYAN MORGAN, Montclair State's leading scorer, netted a pair of second-half goals to stake the Red Hawks to a 2-0 lead. Dowaine Green scored for the Ospreys at 84:07 to trim the margin to 2-1 and set the stage for Adams' tying goal.

CHRIS OWEN registered nine saves in 110 minutes between the posts. Stockton starter Mike Itri made three saves and allowed one goal in 71:45 of game action. Tim McKenna came off the bench to post four stops with one goal against in the final 38:15 of the match.
The teams battled for 65 scoreless minutes before Morgan finally broke through with an unassisted goal to give Montclair a 1-0 lead. Morgan struck again at 82:26 to give the Red Hawks a seemingly insurmountable 2-0 advantage with 7:34 to play. Green halved Stockton's deficit with an assist from Jeremy Cohen less than two minutes later at 84:07. The Ospreys pressed for the tying goal and were rewarded when Adams scored with 0:34 on the clock after a header across the goal mouth by Mike Muckley
Montclair had the best scoring chance of overtime on a header from a corner kick in the second extra period but McKenna made a one-handed stab to preserve the 2-2 tie.
Stockton next will play an NJAC road game at Ramapo on Saturday, October 16 at 1 pm. Montclair State will host Rowan in an NJAC game on Saturday at 1pm.
