Camden (10/19/04) - The Montclair State University volleyball team received 15 kills and 23 assists from senior TIFFANY ACIZ as it defeated Rutgers University-Camden, 30-27, 30-22, 28-30 and 30-24, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match on Tuesday.

The Red Hawks improve to 7-19 overall and 2-4 in the NJAC. The Lady Raptors fall to 2-19 and 0-6. Junior KELLY MCGUIRE added 31 assists, while sophomore HEATHER ACIZ added 21 kills and seven digs.

For the Lady Raptors, freshman Julie Grochowski collected 15 kills, 17 digs and six blocks. Junior Joelle Diener and sophomore Karla Masto each had 19 assists, while Diener add4ed 13 digs and Masto had 12. Sophomore Katherine Maikoksoong had 14 digs.

This is the third year in a row that Montclair State has beaten Rutgers-Camden.
