LaPLume, PA (12/18/04) - Freshman foward JENNIFER RUSSELL (right) scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Montclair State routed Maine-Ft. Kent, 71-38, to finish third in the Hilton-Keystone Classic on Saturday afternoon.

CYNTHIA WARRINGTON and STEPHANIE MACHIN each added 10 points for the Red Hawks (6-4), who held Maine-Ft. Kent to just 13 points in the first half and 30 percent shooting in the game.

Dana Lemon had 14 points for Maine-Ft. Kent.

Russell hit on 8-of-10 attempts from the floor as she helped MSU build a 38-13 lead aty halftime. Russell was named to the All-Tournament Team.

JESSICA HORAN added eight points for Montclair State which got six points apiece from FERIN CATLETT and AMANDA MULLANEY.

Montclair Sate dominated the game as the Red Hawks outrebounded Maine-Ft. Kent, 53-30, including 22 offensive rebounds. JESSICA GARRABRANT had a team-high seven rebounds while Catlett added six.

MSU will be off until the new calendar year as the Red Hawks return to the court on January 6, 2005 hosting the Rams of Farmingdale State at Panzer Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 pm
