Salisbury, MD - Sophomore guard Sean Rozanski went 4-4 in the last 34 seconds of action as the Sea Gulls rolled past Montclair 82-78 in the men's third-place game of the Salisbury Optimist Classic.
Salisbury advances to 4-3 while Montclair falls to 2-4 on the season with its fourth straight defeat.
Salisbury jumped to an early 10-7 lead in the opening five minutes and never trailed in the game. The Gulls maintained control of the court while out-shooting the Red Hawks 28-27.
Montclair rallied in the last minutes of the game coming within two points with 23 seconds on the clock. With only 22 seconds remaining Rozanski was fouled by freshman
OMAR COLON and went on to make both free throws to secure Salisbury's win.
Sophomore Segun Odumeru paced Salisbury with a game high 23 points, going 7-13 from the field, and adding three rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Rozanski finished the game with 20 points and was 2-4 in three-point shooting.

GIAN PAUL GONZALEZ led Montclair with 15 points and shot 6-8 from the field. Senior forward
MICHAEL GLUCK added 13 points for the Red Hawks including six rebounds, one block and one steal.
AL HAWKINS had 12 points in 15 minutes off the bench for MSU, including 2-of-3 from three-point range. Colon had 11 points.
Salisbury capitalized on Montclair's 19 turnovers and picked up 30 points off turnovers alone during the contest. The Sea Gulls converted five of 14 three-point field goals and finished with a 52.8 scoring percentage.
The Red Hawks continue on the road for its next two games beginning Wednesday, December 8 as MSU travels to Mahwah to face Ramapo College at 7:30 pm.
