Rosemont, PA (9/8/04) - The Montclair State volleyball team had three players collect 10-plus kills as the Red Hawks won their second straight match with a four-set triumph at Rosemont College on Wednesday evening.

Montclair State (3-1) took the first two games, 30-11, and 30-20, before dropping the third game, 30-25. Montclair then closed out match with a 30-10 victory in the fourth contest.

Senior hitter TIFFANY ACIZ led the Red Hawks with 18 kills and added four service aces and six digs. Junior KELLY MCGUIRE added 16 kills and four aces while sophomore hitter ASIA LIVINGSTON collected 10 kills, five aces, and six digs.

Sophomore ELYSE GRYWALSKI registered 30 assists while HEATHER ACIZ added six kills, a team-high six aces and a pair of digs. JANIRE LEBRON led the Red Hawks in the dig department with seven. .

The Red Hawks return to action on Friday as they compete in the Buttermaker Tournament held at Muhlenberg College on September 10-11. MSU then returns to Panzer Gymnasium for its home opener on Tuesday, September 14 against defending NJAC champion Rutgers-Newark.
