Madison, NJ (01/26/05) - The Montclair State men's and women's swimming teams both triumphed tonight at Drew University, with the Red Hawk men winning, 117-85, and the Red Hawk women posting an 83-66 victory at Baldwin Gymnasium. The MSU men improve to 8-4 overall, while the MSU women are now 7-6 this season.

KRISTINE BATES won the Women's 50 Freestyle in 25.74 seconds, and also took the 100 Freestyle (57.58). RACHEL YANNUZZI claimed the Women's 200 Yard Breastsroke in 2 minutes, 40.59 seconds, while ADRIENNE RICHARDI finished first in the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle (2:06.88).

MSU won the Men's 400 Yard Medley Relay (4:20.81), while RYAN GORSKY finished first in the Men's 1000 Yard Freestyle (10:51.42). SCOTT MONTGOMERY won the Men's 200 Yard IM (2:09.59) while SHANE SCHWARZ took the Men's 200 Yard Butterfly (2:05.32).

Both MSU teams now host Rowan University this Saturday, Jan. 29, at 12:30 p.m. at Panzer Pool in the Red Hawks' home finale for the 2004-05 campaign.
