Mahwah, NJ (10/1/05) – The Ramapo College men's soccer team, ranked 16th in Division III, defeated the Red Hawks of Montclair State, 2-0 today in a NJAC match-up in Mahwah.
The Roadrunners remain undefeated in the conference improving to 4-0-1, while standing at 8-1-1 overall. Montclair falls to 7-3-1 overall, 2-2-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.

CHRIS OWEN did not need to make a save as the Red Hawk defense held the Roadrunners to two first half shots.
At 59:54, rookie Jim Scilleri pushed a ball past Owen off a throw-in by sophomore Bryan Choma recording his seventh goal of the year. Scilleri's goal turned out to be the game winner after Jadgodzinski posted two more saves in the last 45 minutes earning his second shut out of the year. Senior midfielder Matt Chester added insurance in the 72nd minute for a two-goal lead. Ramapo shut down the Red Hawks recording the 2-0 victory in Mahwah.
Owen posted four saves while Jagodzinski added four of his own. The Roadrunners out shot the Red Hawks, 13-9 with 11 Roadrunner shots coming in the final half.
The Red Hawks return to action on Wednesday, October 5 as they host the Blue Jays of Johns Hopkins at Sprague Field at 7:00 pm.
