Madison, NJ (10/5/05) - Drew University posted their second straight shutout Wednesday night with a 3-0 blanking of Montclair State University.

The Rangers received all three goals in the first half, including a bang within the first minute of the game. Katherine Trawinski received a cross on the baseline from Cait Mueller just :57 seconds into the game to give the Rangers a 1-0 jumpstart.

In the eighth minute, Mueller struck unassisted on a blooper from the left side of the box over the keeper's head and into the upper right corner for a 2-0 Ranger lead. Junior forward Emily Perks put the game away for Drew, connecting in the 30 th minute on a penalty kick as a result of a tripping in the box foul.

Ann Mularz posted two saves for Drew as the Rangers improve to 6-4 on the season. Montclair's Kristin Kuhman registered one save for the Red Hawksm, who drop to 5-6-1 overall.
