Montclair, NJ (4/8/05) - Sophomore Mark Bielicky scored six times and added two assists as 11th-ranked Stevens Tech scored 10 consecutive goals during the first and second halves en route to a 21-5 win over Montclair State in Knickerbocker Lacrosse Conference action at Sprague Field on Saturday afternoon.
Joe Van Sickle and Patrick Bailey each added three goals for the Ducks (7-2, 2-0 KLC), who have won 29 straight KLC contests since 2001. The victory was also Stevens' fourth straight.

After Montclair State jumped out to a 2-0 lead midway through the first quarter on goals by Fischer and
SEAN PEKARSKY, the Ducks quickly erased the lead with four goals. Bielicky got Stevens on the board with 3:43 to play and Van Sickle scored off a John Donly assist with 55 seconds left, tying the game. Donly would put the Ducks in front for good as he notched his first goal of the game seven seconds before the end of the period. In the second, Bielicky scored twice, the second coming with 9:49 remaining to make the score 6-3, but Della Pesca answered 19 seconds later to trim the deficit back to two. That's when the Stevens' scoring barrage started. Bielicky recorded a pair of goals around a Jay Wells tally to make the score 9-4 and Alex Richards got one on the man-advantage for a six-goal cushion. Bielicky struck again with 13 seconds, his fourth, and Donly capped off the first half notching his second goal eight seconds later as Stevens led 12-4 at the half.
Things continued to go well for Stevens Tech in the third as J.R. Oreskovich scored 42 seconds into the period and Van Sickle had back-to-back goals for a 15-4 lead. Wells capped off the Ducks' run with his second goal with 4:04 left in the quarter. Fischer would break the run with 50 seconds to go as Stevens led 16-5 at the end of the period. Greg Duffy and Patrick Bailey each scored twice in the final period as Stevens scored all five goals for the final margin.
The Ducks three goalie tandem of Jack Dunderdale, Corey Vaillancourt and Pat Cavanaugh combined for 11 saves with Vaillancourt collecting seven while Dunderdale and Cavanaugh getting two and three, respectively. Stevens out shot Montclair State 65-28 and held a 47-29 advantage in ground balls as Wells, who was 13-of-19 on faceoff attempts, registered 12.
THOMAS BOWERS made 23 saves in goal for Montclair State.
