Camden, NJ - Montclair State made six errors and allowed four walks, two hit batsmen and 10 hits as 17th-ranked The College of New Jersey eliminated the fifth-seeded Red Hawks, 9-1, in the NJAC Baseball Championship on Sunday afternoon.
The Lions jumped to a quick 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning following a leadoff single by Iacono. He stole second and scored on a single by Wilson.

TOMMY WARTH delivered the run with a sacrifice fly to deep right field.
 TCNJ took the lead for good with a two-run third inning, which included doubles by Haran and junior third baseman Richard Kropp an error, a walk and a hit batsman.

RAY ANDERSON took the loss – his first decision of the season – as he allowed five hits, three walks and three earned runs in 2.1 innings.
TCNJ senior Brad Downs worked seven innings of six-hit ball, allowing four walks and one unearned run to collect the win. He struck out seven while evening his record at 3-3.
Wilson, Kropp and sophomore first baseman Blake Bullis each collected two hits and two RBIs for the Lions.
