St. David's ,PA (9/6/05) – Sophomore LAUREN ZEHNDER had a hand in both goals as Montclair State posted its second straight win with a 2-0 victory at Eastern University (PA) on Tuesday afternoon. Zehnder scored once and assisted on another as the Red Hawks improved to 2-0.

KRISTEN SWARTZ scored her third goal of the season off an assist from Alex Kelly as the Red Hawks began a season with consecutive wins for the fourth straight campaign.

ROBYN APICELLI stopped eight shots as she recorded her first shutout of the season and the sixth of her career.

The Red Hawks return to action on Sautrday, September 10 as they begin a back-to-back homestand. MSU hosts Juniata on Saturday at 2:30 pm before facing the University of Rochester on Sunday, September 11 at Noon.
