Oneonta, NY (4/1/06) – Freshmen George Tsirigotis and Matt Harvey scored a combined total of seven goals today leading Oneonta State to a 14-7 victory over Montclair State. With the victory, Oneonta State moves to 6-3 and Montclair falls to 5-5.
The Red Dragons let the Red Hawks score the first goal of the contest and then scored three for an early lead. The Red Hawks scored another trying to close the gap when Tsirigotis scored with 1:30 left in the first period.
The Red Dragons dominated the second quarter scoring four goals to Montclair's two, ending the first half with a 8-4 lead; a lead they never gave up.
The Red Dragons outshot the Red Hawks by a substantial margin. In the third quater alone, Oneonta had 15 shots while Montclair didn't have a single one. The final shot total was 47-12.

TIM CONDRON was a standout defensive player today with 18 saves for the game.
BRYAN KLIMCHAK had two goals for Montclair State while
DAVE ARMSTRONG added a goal and two assists.
The Red Hawks are now off until Wednesday, April 5 as they travel to Division II Dominican College for a 4:00 pm start.
