JENNIFER TANIS (Oak Ridge, NJ / Jefferson) tallied another just under 10 minutes later as Montclair State, ranked 20th in Division III, closed out its NJAC schedule with a 2-1 win at Richard Stockton on Wednesday afternoon.

JACQUIE SUPKO (Moorestown/Moorestown) made three saves in the winning effort as the Red Hawks improved to 12-5 on the season with their third victory in the last four games.
Jackie Turner (Medford/Shawnee) scored her first goal of the season for Stockton and sophomore Bernadette Jablonoski (Cherry Hill/Paul VI) earned her first college point with an assist on the scoring play. Stockton goalie Debi O'Kane (Cologne/Absegami) made eight saves in the game.
Walsh gave Montclair a quick 1-0 lead on a high shot over O'Kane's blocker just 1:39 into the game.
MEGAN PIETRUNTI (Middletown/Red Bank Catholic) registered an assist by tipping the ball to Walsh. Tanis carried the ball into the circle and scored on a sweeping shot at 10:09 to increase the Red Hawks' advantage to 2-0.
In the second half, Turner took a pass from Jablonoski, stick-handled around Supko and deposited the ball into the open net to pull Stockton within 2-1 with 10:57 remaining. The Montclair State defense stiffened and protected its one-goal lead for the 2-1 triumph.
Montclair State closes out its regular season with a non-league game at eighth-ranked SUNY Cortland on Saturday at 1 pm.
