Montclair, NJ (10/6/07) – Junior forward Nicole Grindle (Lansdale, PA/Lansdale Catholic) scored the game-winning goal 8:07 into overtime as Eastern University edged Montclair State, 1-0 in NCAA Division III women's soccer action at MSU Soccer Park on Saturday afternoon.

Junior Amanda Daveler (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) stopped two shots as the Eagles (10-2) recorded their sixth shutout of the season.

Sophomore goalkeeper LEAH TEPPERMAN (North Andover, MA / North Andover) had three saves for Montclair State which fell to 4-6-1 with its fourth one-goal defeat this season.

Following a scoreless regulation, the Eagles broke through on the first attempt of the extra period.
