Wellington, FL (3/15/07) – Senior attack BRIANNA GILLIN (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnamonson) scored four times while fellow classmate ANN DAILY (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) added four goals as Montclair State got back on the winning track with a 15-12 win over No. 14 Dickinson College on Thursday morning.

Gillin added four assists as the Red Hawks (2-1) rebounded from their 14-13 overtime loss to McDaniel College on Tuesday. Freshman MORGAN MACPHEE (Toms River, NJ/Toms River East) had two goals as MSU jumped out to an 8-5 lead at halftime and defeated the Red Devils for the first time in three meetings.

First-year Alyssa Crellin (Little Compton, RI/Portsmouth Abbey) led the Dickinson attack with five goals, also controlling four draws as the Red Devils dropped their third straight game (2-3).

Dickinson took a 2-0 lead, but BETHANY BLAINE (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) got the Red Hawks on the board with an unassisted goal with 25:43 left. After Crellin scored her second goal, Gillin answered with a pair of goals 44 seconds apart to tie the game at 3-3 with 18 minutes remaining. Crellin's third goal put the Devils back in front, however the lead was short-lived as MSU scored the next three goals, including two by SHAUNA BROCKLEBANK (Long Branch, NJ/Long Branch) as Montclair took a 6-4 lead it would not relinquish.

Leading by three entering the second half, Gillin scored 1:34 into the period and then set up the next three goals – all by Daily as MSU widened its lead to 12-5 with 21:02 left. Amy Jennings (Baltimore, MD/McDonogh) would scored twice midway through the period as part of a five-goal spurt by Dickinson to make the score, 12-10, but JENNIFER TANIS (Oak Ridge, NJ/Jefferson) scored with 10:53 left to restore the lead to 13-10.

The Red Devils made one more run as Tara Gross ( Sandy Spring, MD/Sandy Spring Friends) scored to trim the lead to 13-12 with 8:49 left. Montclair ended any hopes of a comeback as Tanis registered her second goal with 5:09 left and MacPhee recorded her second goal with 2:54 to play.

Jennings and Lizzie Cone ( Hockessin, DE/St. Mark's) each added two goals. Cone added seven caused turnovers and four ground balls. Laura Williams (Chestertown, MD/Gunston Day) chipped in with a goal, an assist and five draw controls. Katie Austin ( Warwick, RI/The Wheeler School) controlled four draws on the day.

Gabby Joffie ( Jamaica, NY/Mercersburg Academy) made 15 saves in the Devil cage. MSU's Kristin Kuhmann ( Beachwood, NJ/Toms River South) had 13 saves as Montclair State was out shot in the game 33-32.
