Montclair, NJ (9/29/07) – Sophomore midfielder LARA KAMINSKI (Rahway, NJ / Union Catholic) scored the first and last goal for Montclair State as the Red Hawks posted their second straight win, blanking Rutgers-Camden, 4-0 in New Jersey Athletic Conference women's soccer action at MSU Soccer Park on Saturday afternoon.

Junior ANGELA MARTONE (Toms River, NJ / Toms River South) and freshman CHRISTYN SCILLIERI (Wayne, NJ / Wayne Valley) each added goals for the Red Hawks, who improved to 4-5-1 overall this season, 3-2 in the NJAC.

Kristen Cargen (Cherry Hill, NJ / Cherry Hill East) made four saves for the Scarlet Raptors, who fell to 3-5-3, 0-4-1 in the conference.

MSU, which improved to 9-0-1 against Rutgers-Camden all time, snapped a scoreless tie with 7:28 to go in the first half as Kaminski netted her second of the season on an unassisted tally as she fired in a shot from the right side of 18-yard box.

Montclair would extend the lead early in the second half on a penalty kick as one of the Red Hawks were fouled in the area just in front of the net 4:43 into the period. Martone converted the attempt for her first tally of the year as Montclair led 2-0.  The game would stay that way for the next 21 minutes until Scillieri scored for the second straight game. Taking control of a ball inside the box, Scillieri turned and fired a shot inside the lower left post as MSU increased its lead to 3-0.

Kaminski would finish off MSU's scoring with 15 seconds to play as she headed in a ball.

LEAH TEPPERMAN (North Andover, MA / North Andover) made two saves as she recorded her third shutout of the season.
