Montclair jumped to an early 5-3 lead in the first set, but Burkart sparked Stockton with three kills during an eight-point run that gave the Ospreys an 11-5 lead. Burkart and O'Donnell each slammed five kills and paced Stockton to the 25-18 win. O'Donnell spiked five more kills in the second set and the Ospreys used another eight-point run to take control and later win 25-17. Johnston notched three kills in the set for Montclair.

In the third set, Stockton used an 11-3 spurt to turn an early 3-1 deficit into a 12-6 lead, and the Ospreys completed the sweep 25-16. O'Donnell again powered the Stockton offense with four kills while Martin countered with four kills for Montclair State.
