TYLER METH scored five times in his collegiate debut to lead the Montclair State men's lacrosse team to a 19-4 win over Moravian.
The Greyhounds opened the scoring with an unassisted tally, but the Red Hawks reeled off the next 12 markers, spanning the first two and a half quarters. Meth and
TYLER MEIXNER each recorded three goals during the stretch.
Late in the game,
TAYLOR BONNER capped his hat trick while
MARIO PASSAFIUME and
MATTHEW PRONGAY each tallied a pair of goals. David Bennett netted two goals for Moravian, who also received a goal and two helpers from Robert Devine.
THOMAS BOWERS stopped 13 shots in the win, as
PATRICK FERRY and
ANTHONY DZIENKIEWICZ each notched a pair of caused turnovers.
JOHN SCHIAVONE and
ROBERT GLANDER each went 11-of-12 on faceoffs, with the duo totaling a combined 13 ground balls.
