Oneonta, NY - The Montclair State volleyball team closed out its regular season on Saturday as the Red Hawks split their final two matches at the Dig Pink Invitational held at SUNY Oneonta. Montclair State (18-11) knocked off Baruch College in three sets before falling to Hunter 3-1.

Kaitlyn Irwin (Cranford, NJ, Cranford) was named to the All-Tournament Team as she collected 78 digs in the four matches to go over the 2,000 mark for her career. Freshman
Melissa Terpstra (Midland Park, NJ, Midland Park) had 51 kills and 51 digs.
Terpstra had 12 kills and 10 digs as 11 digs as the Red Hawks knocked off Baruch in the second meeting between the teams. Senior
Marta Topor (Bogota, NJ, Bogota) chipped in with seven kills as MSU beat the Bearcats 25-21, 25-21, 25-22.
Terpstra also had three aces while
Sara Girgus (Green Brook, NJ, Watchung Hills) posted a team-best six to go along with four digs and three blocks. Setter
Angela Campo (Washington Township, NJ, Westwood) collected 27 assists and five digs while Irwin registered 10 digs.
Kimberly Butrico (Cresskill, NJ, Cresskill) also had nine digs for MSU.
Montclair's second meeting with Hunter in a week went the opposite of the first contest as the Hawks won the final three sets (25-221, 25-10, 25-17) after the Red Hawks took the first set 25-17.
Terpstra recorded 13 kills along with 15 digs and a pair of aces while Campo tallied 37 assists and seven digs.
Erika Gerner (Sparta, NJ, Sparta) and
Rebecca Matasker (Washington Township, NJ, Westwood) each had six kills with Irwin posting 22 digs and Butrico 18.
Courtney LePore (Deer Park, NY, Deer Park) had four blocks for the Red Hawks.
MSU now heads to the NJAC Tournament where it will host Ramapo College on Tuesday, November 5 at 7:00 pm. The winner advances to the semifinals on Thursday at top seed and five-time defending champion Richard Stockton. Montclair State swept the Roadrunners at the Panzer Athletic Center on October 15.
