Kerry Glynn (Old Bridge, NJ, Old Bridge) scored twice as No. 13 Montclair State posted another shutout as the Red Hawks blanked St. Joseph's College (LI), 4-0 on Wednesday evening.

Jennie Hornstra (Clifton, NJ, Clifton) and sophomore
Shawna Grabowski (Woodbridge, NJ, Woodbridge) each added a goal as the Red Hawks, off to the best start in program history, improved to 7-0 with all seven victories coming via shutout.
Junior goalkeeper
Gina Policastro (East Brunswick, NJ, East Brunswick) made one stop in 80-plus minutes before freshman
Rachel King (Broomes Island, MD, Calvert) closed out the game with one save over the final 9:28 of the contest.
Glynn put Montclair State on the board 12:23 into the contest as she finished off a feed from junior
Melanie Greco (Bridgewater, NJ, Bridgewater-Raritan). Hornstra made it 2-0 with 11:23 to go in the opening half before Glynn struck again in the second half at the 72:47 mark.
Grabowski capped off the scoring 67 seconds later for the final margin.
Montclair State is now off until Wednesday, September 25 when it opens defense of its New Jersey Athletic Conference championship. The Red Hawks will make the short trek to Wayne, NJ to face William Paterson at 7:00 pm.
