Montclair, NJ – For the second time this season the Montclair State women's soccer team finished in a scoreless draw as the Red Hawks tied Rowan University on Saturday evening at MSU Soccer Park.

ERINNE FINLAYSON made three saves for the Red Hawks, who are now 9-2-2 overall, 2-1-2 in the NJAC following the tie. MSU also played to a 0-0 draw with Stockton University on September 23. It is the third time in 24 all-time meetings that MSU and Rowan played to a scoreless draw and the first time since 2006.
Finlayson continued her solid stretch in net for MSU with her sixth shutout in seven appearances this season. She made one during regulation but came up big in the two overtime periods. Finlayson denied Danielle Macy 6:18 into the first overtime period and came up with a stop against Darah Wagner 17 seconds into the second OT.
Montclair State is back in action on Wednesday, October 14 when it heads to Union, NJ to face Kean University at 7:30 pm.
