Rosenthal came up big again early in the second half as she denied MEGAN ROELOFFS on a shot from the left wing off a penalty corner 4:03 into the half. Muhlenberg started to mount an offensive attack over the next eight minutes and got two chances on a corner in thr 48th minutes. Emily Davis had a shot blocked with Brattole making a kick save versus Stephi Rydgren on the rebound. A minute later Muhlenberg would break the tie. Off another corner, Laura Holdman ripped a shot from the top of the circle that was blocked. Montclair tried to clear the ball however Boyle was able to poke-check the clear before flipping a shot inside the right post for what turned out to be the only goal of the contest. It was Boyle's ninth of the year.

Montclair State will look to get back in the win column on Saturday, October 17 when it hosts Rhodes College (TN) at 6:00 pm.
