Montclair, NJ - Sophomore Courtnee Wilkerson posted four of her match-high 20 kills in the decisive fifth set as Rutgers-Camden captured the final two stanzas in a 3-2 win over Montclair State at the Panzer Athletic Center on Tuesday evening.
Senior Caitlin Marchlowitz added a double-double of 13 kills and 18 digs helping the Scarlet Raptors (6-8, 2-1 NJAC) to their second straight victory. Rutgers-Camden snapped a two-match losing streak to MSU with a 25-20, 21-25, 16-25, 25-18, 15-13.

COURTNEY MATLOCK had 20 kills for Montclair State (9-7, 2-2 NJAC), which had its two-match winning streak halted.
NIKKI SENOPOULOS aded 12 kills and 17 digs for the Red Hawks.
After Rutgers-Camden knotted up the match with a victory in the fourth set, Montclair State jumped out to a 6-2 lead as Matlock had two kills and April D'Angelo one while the Red Hawks took advantage of back-to-back errors by the Raptors for the four-point lead. Following a timeout, Rutgers-Camden trimmed the lead to 6-5 on a kill by Sydney Allen whoe made it 8-7 before an MSU attack error tied the set at 8-8. Marchlowitz served up the next two points on an ace and block by Allen and Kristin Bellamy making the score 10-8. The Red Hawks counter with the next two points forging a 10-10 tie however Wilkerson put down consecutive kills for a 12-10 Raptor lead.
Two errors by Rutgers-Camden tield the score for the sixth time but Wilkerson came through with her 20th kill putting the Scarlet Raptors back in front. An attack error by Montclair made it match point and another miscue by the Red Hawks gave Rutgers-Camden its first win at Montclair State since the opening round of the 2011 NJAC Tournament.
Olivia Rowland had eight kills for Rutgers-Camden, which got 45 assists and 16 digs from setter Brooke Hassan. Bellamy added seven kills with libero Erin Thompson posting 29 digs. Allen chipped in with five kills and Kim Bryfogle registered four aces.
COURTNEY LEPORE had nine kills and five blocks for MSU. D'Angelo finished with six kills and
MADISON MAUTE added four along with four blocks.
KIMBERLY MATLOCK had 45 assists along with three aces with libero
LILY SCANZILLO, the NJAC Defensive Player of the Week, notching 22 digs.
Montclair State returns to action on Saturday, October 10 hosting a tri-match at the Panzer Athletic Center. The Red Hawks will face Manhattanville College at 11:00 am and Mount St. Mary at 3:00 pm with the two visiting teams meeting in the middle contest at 1:00 pm.
