No. 9 Women's Basketball Stumbles Against Rochester, 61-53

Red Hawks Drop Second Straight Game

San Juan, Puerto Rico - The Montclair State women's basketball team dropped its second straight contest as the No. 9 Red Hawks lost to the University of Rochester 61-53 in th Puerto Rico Clasico on Tuesday afternoon.

Freshman KIARRA DILLARD had 11 points for MSU, which fell to 8-3 on the season as Montclair suffered defeats in back-to-back contests for the first time since January 4th and January 7th, 2012.

The Red Hawks are now off until Monday, January 4 when it travels to Haverford College for a 6:00 pm matchup in Pennsylvania. Montclair then returns home on Wednesday, January 6 to take on Rowan University in a 6:00 pm contest at the Panzer Athletic Center.
