KASEY MAGUIRE scored five goals while senior 
TIERNEY CONLON registered nine assists as Montclair State kept its NJAC record unblemished with a 21-4 victory over Ramapo College at Sprague Field on Tuesday evening.
ALEXA DIPIERO and 
FRANCESCA VERRONE each scored four times for the Red Hawks (8-4), who won their sixth straight while improving to 4-0 in the conference. Alyssa Tachon had two goals and an assist for the Roadrunners (4-6, 1-2 NJAC).
Montclair wasted very little time getting on the board a Conlon found DiPiero for the game's first with 19 seconds into the contest. Conlon set up the next two goals by 
JENNA BUSSIERE and DiPiero for a 3-0 lead before Tachon scored on an unassisted tally with 23:13 to play.
Maguire answered 27 seconds later igniting a four-goal run by the Red Hawks as the lead jumped to 7-1 with 17:13 left in the opening period. Maguire had the first two with Verrone and Bussiere each finding the back of the net twice. Beth McGraw stopped the spurt a minute later however Montclair State ripped off the final second goals to end the half.
Magguire had the first two for a 9-2 advantage and Verrone's goal 11 seconds after Maguire's second got the MSU total in double digits. 
SERENA HITCHINS scored on unassisted with 10:26 to play pushing the lead to 11-2. Sophomore 
AVIANA PARAGGIO set up goals by 
BRIANNA RIVERA and DiPiero before scoring the final one herself with 34 seconds as Montclair led 14-2 at the break.
Colleen Manley and Tachon opened the second half with goals for Ramapo however the Red Hawks reeled off the final seven in the final 19-plus minutes, the last by 
KAYLA KENNEDY.
Conlon had a goal and three assists during the game-ending run giving her 10 points on the evening. It marked the seventh time that Conlon has scored 10 or more points in a game and the first since March 25, 2014 when she had 11 versus New Paltz. The nine assists were one shy of the Montclair State single-game record and upper her career total to 232, two behind the MSU mark of 234 set by Cathy Homiek (2001-04). She is also eight assists behind the NCAA Division III record held by Kendyl Clarkson of Buffalo State who had 240 from 2009-12. Conlon also moved into sixth place on the all-time Division III scoring list with 415 points.
Bussiere finished with three goals, two assists and six draws for MSU with Conlon regiatering four draws. Maguire and Verrone had three apiece as MSU captured 20 in the game. Defender 
MEREDITH KING had a solid night with five caused turnovers and three ground balls. 
ALEXANDRA TEPPER stopped four shots over the final 30 minutes.
Montclair returns to action on Saturday, April 18 with a matchup against #13 The College of New Jersey in Ewing at 1:00 pm.
