KEVIN SIMEK each collected a goal and assist as ninth-ranked Montclair State bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 6-0 win over CCNY at MSU Soccer Park on Monday evening.

KYLE GOODWIN also had goals for the Red Hawks (7-1), who got back into the win column following a 2-1 loss to Oneonta on Saturday evening.
MATT HENDRICKSON and
KAZARI TROUGHT also scored for MSU.
Terci gave Montclair State a 1-0 lead 8:03 into the contest as he converted a penalty kick for his first tally of the season. Goodwin added to the lead five minutes later as he took a short pass off a corner kick on the right side, driving to the right post before flipping the ball in for his second goal of the season.
MSU would added two more in a 63-second span to take a 4-0 lead. Bziukiewicz converted the Red Hawks' second penalty kick of the evening and then set up Simek for the latter's third at the 18:39 mark.
Hendrickson and Trought scored three minutes apart early in the second half for the final MSU scores.
MSU outshot the Beavers (3-3), 28-10 in the contest. Goalkeepers

RICKY NELSON combined on the Red Hawks' fourth shutout of the season.
The Red Hawks now turn their attention to conference play as defending NJAC champion Montclair heads to Jersey City, NJ on Wednesday, September 23 for a 3:30 pm matchup with New Jersey City University.
