Montclair, NJ – Senior midfielder DAMIAN BZIUKIEWICZ and freshman midfielder KEVIN SIMEK each collected a goal and assist as ninth-ranked Montclair State bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 6-0 win over CCNY at MSU Soccer Park on Monday evening.

Freshman RAFAEL TERCI and sophomore KYLE GOODWIN also had goals for the Red Hawks (7-1), who got back into the win column following a 2-1 loss to Oneonta on Saturday evening. MATT HENDRICKSON and KAZARI TROUGHT also scored for MSU.

Terci gave Montclair State a 1-0 lead 8:03 into the contest as he converted a penalty kick for his first tally of the season. Goodwin added to the lead five minutes later as he took a short pass off a corner kick on the right side, driving to the right post before flipping the ball in for his second goal of the season.

MSU would added two more in a 63-second span to take a 4-0 lead. Bziukiewicz converted the Red Hawks' second penalty kick of the evening and then set up Simek for the latter's third at the 18:39 mark.

Hendrickson and Trought scored three minutes apart early in the second half for the final MSU scores.
