Montclair, NJ – Junior HAYLEY MERRILL registered 16 kills as Montclair State bounced back from a first-set loss for a 3-1 over Hunter College at the Panzer Athletic Center on Tuesday evening.

MADISON MAUTE and COURTNEY MATLOCK each had nine kills as the Red Hawks (19-7) dropped the first set 25-23 before taking the final three 25-18, 25-19 and 25-17.

REBECCA MATASKER added five kills, five aces and two blocks for MSU. ASHLEY GRIFFITH had 34 assists, five aces, six digs and a pair of kills while DANIELLE OLCESE put up 15 digs.

Montclair State is back in action on Friday, October 21 at home against New York University beginning at 6:00 pm.
