MADISON MAUTE recorded 12 kills and three blocks as Montclair State registered its 12
th straight victory with a four-set triumph over Baruch College on Thursday evening.

REBECCA MATASKER and
COURTNEY MATLOCK each getting seven helping MSU up its record to 17-2 on the season. Montclair won the match 25-18, 24-26, 25-12 and 25-16 for its fourth straight win against the Bearcats (6-14). The Red Hawks lead the all-time series 10-8.
After splitting the first two sets, Montclair used an efficient hitting attack in the final two to put the match away. MSU hit .369 in the last two sets committing just two errors while putting down 28 kills. Merrill his .615 and did not make an error in 13 attempts overall while Maute had only two in 29 swings (.345).
ASHLEY GRIFFITH had three kills, 39 assists, three aces and eight digs with
DANIELLE OLCESE and
LILY SCANZILLO getting 23 and 21 digs, respectively.
APRIL DIANGELO was the fourth Red Hawk in double figures for digs with 11.
The Red Hawks are now off until Tuesday, October 11 when they face Ramapo College at the Bradley Center in Mahwah, NJ. First serve of the NJAC match is set for 7:00 pm.
