AMBER HASLETT collected her first career hat trick while junior
KAITLYN STRUSS added two goals as No. 10 Montclair State rolled to its second straight victory, 6-1 over Cabrini College in the Drew Fall Festival on Saturday.

KELLY WATSON assisted on a pair of scores for Montclair (2-0) which has opened a season with back-to-back wins for the sixth straight year.
Struss gave MSU a quick 1-0 lead just over five minutes in with her first goal of the year, a putback off a long shot from outside the circle. Haslett added to the lead at the 19:11 mark cleaning up a loose ball in from following a deflection. Montclair would take the 2-0 lead into the break.
Struss finished off a feed from Watson 2:18 into the second half for a three-goal margin and Haslett's second tally just 40 seconds later extended the lead to 4-0. Haslett got the hat trick with 29:01 left knocking in a crossing pass from Watson.
Cabrini's Jackie Neary broke the shutout 20 minutes later scoring from six yards out. Freshman
RACHEL VOLPE added the final goal with 2:39 to play.
VICTORIA ROSSI slipped the pass through the defense to Volpe who finished the play off with her first collegiate goal.
Katilin Maguire made three saves for MSU, which held a 24-5 margin in shots.
The Red Hawks are back in action on Sunday, September 4 at the Drew Fall Festival. Montclair State takes on Lebanon Valley College at 1:00 pm.
