Rochester, NY – Junior NATALIA MAJKUT collected six kills for Montclair State however University of Rochester swept past the Red Hawks, 3-0 in the New York Regional Challenge on Friday evening.

The Red Hawks fell to 13-17 on the year as the Yellowjackets (17-10) took the match 25-15, 25-10 and 26-24. It was the sixth straight win for Rochester against MSU as the hosts improved to 6-1 all-time against Montclair State.

Sophomomre JILLIAN WILSON had six kills while SCHYLER WHITE and NJAC Rookie of the Week SIYARA HERBERT each had five. Herbert also served four aces. Junior ASHLEY GRIFFITH posted 16 assists and five digs with senior libero LILY SCANZILLO collecting 10 digs.  

Montclair State concludes action in the NY Regional Challenge on Saturday, October 28 with two matches. The Red Hawks face Fredonia at 10:30 am followed by a 12:30 pm contest against RIT. Those matches conclude MSU's regular season as it will then host Rowan in the first-round of the NJAC Tournament on Tuesday, October 31.
