Montclair, NJ - The Montclair State women's soccer team is moving on in the NJAC Tournament after the third-seeded Red Hawks blanked Rutgers-Newark 3-0-at MSU Soccer Park on Saturday afternoon.
MSU (10-4-4), now advances to the Wednesday's semifinal round where it will take on second-seeded Rowan University at 6:00 pm in Glassboro, NJ. The two teams played to a scoreless draw in Montclair on October 7 and will meet in the semifinals for the second consecutive season. Last year the two played ot a 0-0 tie with the Profs advancing to the championship game in penalty kicks, 4-2.

Rutgers-Newark, (9-10-0) attempted six shots in the game but were held scoreless, thanks to the MSU's solid defensive effort. The Red Hawks forced the Scarlet Raiders into an own goal in the 89' for the final margin.
