Henniker, NH - The Red Hawks drops their final game of the New England Colege Tournament, 3-2 thanks to a late spot kick goal by SUNY Potsdam's Rylie Murray in the second overtime on Sunday afternoon.

Junior defender MICHAELA KNOBLOCK opened the scoring with her first goal of the season in the '39 after a cross from sophomore forward EMILY BEENDERS. MSU took 1-0 lead in the locker room at half after leading the Beavers in shots 9-2.

SUNY Potsdam equalized five minutes into the second half after junior midfielder Brooke Faison's shot to the right corner of the left post from an assist by Samantha Hubinski. The Red Hawks regained the lead in the '67 when MADDY MCLELLAND pounced on Beenders service into the box. McLelland, who scored for the second straight day, leads the team in scoring with three goals. MSU falls to 1-1-2, while the Beavers improved to 4-1 for the season.

Faison collected her second goal of the match when she equalized with just two minutes remaining in regular time from  Murray's free-kick. For the third time in four games this season, MSU were taken into overtime. After going scoreless in the first overtime period, the Beavers were awarded a penalty kick in the '107, where Murray buried the winner.

Montclair State returns to action on Wednesday September, 13, when they visit Swarthmore College. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM as the Red Hawks looks to get back in the winning column.
