Swarthmore, PA – Swarthmore College's Marin McCoy scored a pair of goals as the 10
th-ranked Garnet tallied the final three scores in a 4-2 victory over Montclair State on Tuesday evening.
Seneca Kinn-Gurzo added a goal and assist as Swarthmore remained unbeaten on the season, improving to 6-0.

EMILY BEENDERS recorded both goals for Montclair (1-2-2), which dropped its second straight contest.
Montclair put the first goal on the board on its first shot attempt. Beenders gathered a loose ball in the box, knocking in a shot for her first goal of the season and a 1-0 Red Hawk lead.
The Garnet tied the game just past the 18-minute mark on a goal by Marin McCoy who recovered a rebound in the box and finished off with a high shot out of the reach of Red Hawk keeper

Knotted at 1-1, Benders put MSU back in front with her second of the contest, flicking in a volley from
TYLER MADISON in the 58
th minute. McCoy retied the game with 19:35 left and Swarthmore took the lead in the 77
th minute when Kinn-Gurzo connected off a corner kick giving the hosts a 3-2 advantage.
Covitz capped the scoring with 3:30 to play burying a tap pass from Kinn-Gurzo.
Barrow made seven saves for the Red Hawks, who were outshot 22-11 in the contest.
Montclair State is back in action on Saturday, September 16 when it hosts Ramapo College in its New Jersey Athletic Conference opener beginning at 1:00 pm.
