Gwynedd Valley, PA – The Montclair State field hockey team bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 4-2 victory over Gwynedd –Mercy on Saturday afternoon.
Four different Red Hawks scored as MSU improved to 8-1 on the year.

KAILEY DALGAUER and
KAITLYN PRESTINARI each found the back of the cage for Montclair State.
Watson gave the Red Hawks a 1-0 lead less than 10 minutes into the contest and the Red Hawks added to their lead at 13:36 when Rossi finished off a feed from Prestinari.
The Griffins' Kathryn Lehman cut the lead in half with 5:26 remaining in the opening half, however Prestinari and
ELIZABETH CIMILLUCA combined on a goal 71 seconds later restoring MSU's advantage to 3-1.
Dalgauer would get the final goal a little over six minutes into the second half.
Montclair was outshot in the game 10-8.
NICOLE ANDRIANI made one save in her first 57 minutes of action before giving way to
BRENNA MILLER who stopped one shot in the final 13 minutes.
Montclair State returns to action on Monday, September 24 hosting FDU-Florham at Sprague Field beginning at 7:00 pm.
